what i miss:
- the clubs… shakin’ my ass to some techno slash pop dance remix slash hip hop. small towns do not appreciate this enough.
- art galleries… i want to go on the market art crawl this summer. not going to happen as i will be working with no chance to get away.
- the farmer’s market… with awesome stuff. also the epic beef jerky!
- friends… i miss my omaha people.
- options… job options, shopping options, restaurant options… all the options!
- the unique neighborhoods… dundee, benson, midtown… i don’t really love you west O, but i’ve learned to respect you… somewhat.
- my favorite downtown grocery store… well, only downtown grocery store last time i checked… Patrick’s Market. I loved eating their lasagna and other stuff. i’d rather not cook unless i have to.
- the atmosphere of an actual city. one day i will experience it again. i’m working on it.
